Promise Manor neighborhood sign

Residents of the Promise Manor neighborhood approached Laser Works looking for a cost effective yet elegant sign for their subdivision entrance. Laser Works provided a front and back sign to suit their needs. Each sign is made up of three 18″x18″ China Black granite tiles.

China Black Granite Dog Monument

We had a customer who recently had their dog pass away. They had visited our pet memorial website, PetsInStone.com, but wanted something a little more elaborate than a standard pet marker. Laser Works provided them with a beautiful one-of-a-kind pet monument for their friend.

City of Sumiton Veterans Memorial

Laser Works worked with the city of Sumiton, Alabama to create a one-of-a-kind memorial to its resident veterans. The finished memorial was comprised of a China black granite main monument standing six feet in height and six China black granite benches for the Navy, the Army, the Air Force, the Marines, the Coast Guard, the Merchant Marines and one for Prisoners of War. Surrounding the main monument are 200 China black granite brick pavers laser engraved with Sumiton veterans’ names and ranks.

Gardendale First Baptist Entrance Signs

Gardendale First Baptist Church needed a large entrance sign after they moved to a new facility. Laser Works provided a ten foot wide by five foot tall carved PVC sign for the front entrance and an eight foot wide by four foot tall carved PVC sign for the rear entrance.

Floor Mural for Jacksonville State University

Laser Works was asked to etch a twelve foot diameter black granite circular mural for Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, Alabama. The mural was comprised of sixty eighteen inch square China black granite tiles.

City of Center Point Veterans Memorial

Laser Works of Alabama worked with the City of Center Point, Alabama to create a memorial to all of its veterans involved in any American conflict. Laser Works designed a Veterans Memorial having six China black granite benches, one for each of the armed services (Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, Coast Guard and Merchant Marines); a main China black granite monument standing eight feet tall; and over 800 personalized China black granite brick pavers.

Gardendale High School Seniors Memorial

Gardendale High School in Gardendale, Alabama was looking for a way to commemorate the first graduating class of their new facility. Laser Works provided a China black engraving of all of the seniors signatures spaced out around the GHS logo.

Duke Service Recognition Memorial

Ross Cline, an Iraq War Veteran, wanted to pay tribute to Newton Duke, a Veteran and POW of the Korean War.  Mr. Cline provided the information of Corporal Newton’s engagements in Korea, his capture by North Korean soldiers and the twenty-seven months he spent in captivity.  Mr. Duke provided a photo of his platoon taken the day of their release, adding a finishing touch to the story of his service to our country. Below is a picture of Mr. Duke with the finished service recognition memorial.
