Duke Service Recognition Memorial
Posted on December 29th, 2009 by Laser WorksRoss Cline, an Iraq War Veteran, wanted to pay tribute to Newton Duke, a Veteran and POW of the Korean War. Mr. Cline provided the information of Corporal Newton’s engagements in Korea, his capture by North Korean soldiers and the twenty-seven months he spent in captivity. Mr. Duke provided a photo of his platoon taken the day of their release, adding a finishing touch to the story of his service to our country.
