City of Sumiton Veterans Memorial
Posted on October 29th, 2010 by Laser WorksLaser Works worked with the city of Sumiton, Alabama to create a one-of-a-kind memorial to its resident veterans. The finished memorial was comprised of a China black granite main monument standing six feet in height and six China black granite benches for the Navy, the Army, the Air Force, the Marines, the Coast Guard, the Merchant Marines and one for Prisoners of War. Surrounding the main monument are 200 China black granite brick pavers laser engraved with Sumiton veterans’ names and ranks.
