Laser Works of Alabama provided the city of Savannah, Georgia with 36-inch China black granite floor murals for insetting into sidewalks in Savannah, Georgia in commemoration of the completion of a restoration project.

Poker Tables for Maxwell Air Force Base

Laser Works provided laser engraving for two wooden tables to be used as poker tables. Maxwell Air Force Base provided the logos.

Nucor Children’s Hospital Golf Classic Award

Nucor Steel holds the annual Children’s Hospital Golf Tournament. Before the tournament begins there is an auction to raise money for Children’s Hospital. For 2012, Nucor wanted to provide an item containing the Children’s Hospital logo along with one patient’s artwork. Laser Works provided two China Black marble pieces to affix to a rotating display, as well as etching of logos and signatures on the steel itself.

DeKalb County Tornado Memorial

On April 27, 2011, 35 residents of DeKalb County perished in the tornados that struck Alabama, causing extensive damage to Rainsville and the surrounding communities in their destructive path. This memorial is a collective effort to remember those who lost their lives and to honor those involved in search, rescue, recovery and rebuilding. This memorial has two sides: the left side is a reminder of the destruction on that day, April 27, 2011; and the right side represents the hope and recovery that is ongoing as the community rebuilds and heals. The 289 sq. ft. China black granite monument was dedicated on April 28, 2012.

Black Warrior Counsel – Eagle Scout Memorial

The Black Warrior Council (BWC) of Tuscaloosa, Alabama sought a way to memorialize one hundred years of BWC Eagle Scouts. Laser Works of Alabama provided a monument consisting of six monuments with the etched names of every one of the over two thousand BWC Eagle Scouts since 1914. An additional smaller monument holds a bronze eagle.

Promise Manor neighborhood sign

Residents of the Promise Manor neighborhood approached Laser Works looking for a cost effective yet elegant sign for their subdivision entrance. Laser Works provided a front and back sign to suit their needs. Each sign is made up of three 18″x18″ China Black granite tiles.

China Black Granite Dog Monument
